We are pleased to announce that we will be opening the Bar on Friday,Saturday and Sunday’s on the following reduced hours with effect from 17 July 2020 subject to review.
Friday 5.00pm – 10.00pm
Saturday 12 Noon – 10.00pm
Sunday 11.00am – 8.00pm
Week Commencing 27 July 2020 the club will be open Monday – Thursday 10.00am – 3.00pm subject to review. Rooms will be available for hire during these hours for activities and functions under the current government guidelines.
We look forward to welcoming you back to the club and your continued support during this difficult time
Obviously there will be some changes to the way we operate so we can observe social distancing and follow the government’s guidelines while still offering the same level of service.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO RESERVE A TABLE to come and visit. If you do want to book a table please contact us the old fashioned way and give us a call.
We are only able to reserve tables for a maximum of 6 people, these are the government’s guidelines so we cannot budge on this, no matter how well we know you or how good of a customer you are, it is illegal for us to allow tables of more than six people for the time or put tables together for large groups so please don’t take it personally.
Also for the time being we won’t be opening the outside tables.
Getting served at, or standing at the bar is also on the governments list of big no no’s, so we will now be exclusively table service. So sit back and relax while we come to you.
Please don’t be offended but one person per party will be required to sign in. Please put your name and phone number on the card, we won’t be using it to sign you up to any dodgy mailing lists, it’s just so people can be traced in the unfortunate event there’s a second wave. Although it might be hilarious to sign your name as Michael Jackson or Geoffrey from Rainbow we ask you to resist this.
We’re also encouraging contactless payments to avoid handling of cash.
Apart from all the small changes; the extra hand washing and a little bit of extra distance between everyone, we are hoping that it’s going to be pretty close to how we’ve always been and we cannot wait to welcome you all back.
Having said that, all these guidelines and changes are only short term and the quicker we abide by them, the quicker, hopefully we can get back to normal.
